Lay's BBQ Chips on grill hamburger fixings

Frito-Lay has issued a voluntary recall of Lay’s Barbecue Flavored Potato Chips due to undeclared milk ingredients.

It was discovered that bags of Lay’s Barbecue Flavored Potato Chips were filled with another flavor of potato chips, potentially exposing consumers to undeclared milk. Customers who are allergic to milk or have severe sensitivity could run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consumed them.

The products covered by this recall were distributed in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

The recall applies to bags of 1 oz., 1 1/2 oz., 2 5/8 oz., 7 3/4 oz., 12 1/2 oz. and 15 1/2 oz of Lay’s BBQ Potato Chips.

Frito-Lay says these are the only Lay’s products being recalled, however, the recalled chips may also be included in Frito-Lay Variety Packs, including Frito-Lay 10 count Lay’s pack, Frito-Lay 18 count Flavor Mic pack, Frito-Lay 28 count Classic Mix cube box, Frito-Lay 50 count Flavor Mix tray, Frito-Lay 60 count variety Pack case Frito-Lay 30 count Classic Variety Mix tray, Frito-Lay 54 count Classic Mix cube box, and Frito-Lay 30 count Classic Mix cube box.
