RECALL ALERT: Salads & Wraps Sold at Trader Joe’s, Kroger & Walgreens

On July 30th, the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service another health alert regarding certain beef, pork and poultry salad and wrap products that might be contaminated with Cyclospora cayetanensis, an intestinal parasite that can cause diarrhea, vomiting, and weight loss.
The affected products were distributed by Caito Foods LLC, an Indianapolis, IN establishment and were sold by grocery stores including Kroger, Trader Joe’s, and Walgreens. These salad and wrap products were produced between July 15th to 18th, 2018, with either the Best By, Enjoy By, Best if Sold By, or Sell By dates ranging from July 18th through July 23rd, 2018.
