Sometimes you have to plan ahead to be spontaneously thoughtful ;)

I have the best intentions when it comes to remembering people on their birthdays. I’ll make a note on my calendar and dutifully add “buy birthday card” to my shopping list. Then life gets in the way, the card doesn’t get bought (at least not on time) and I end up sending a text or email.

I hate having to run to the store to pick up a greeting card. I also hate spending an arm and a leg on one too. They have gotten so expensive that I have had to start including the card in my gift budget when shopping.

BUT with the end of summer means new buzz-worthy innovations are hitting the greeting card aisle at Dollar Tree. Starting TODAY, August 30th, over 6,500 Dollar Tree stores nationwide will carry Expressions from Hallmark for $1 and Heartline, a Hallmark company, 2 for $1. With hundreds of new greeting cards to choose from, you can celebrate every moment with your friends and family without breaking the bank!

Each card is full sized, crafted with nicely weighted card stock, and has some sort of special detail (i.e. gemstones, glitter, 3D, etc.). I've bought embellished cards from other manufacturers and while they are very nice, these excel on all levels. There is ample space inside to add a personal note, and are definitely nicer than the standard cards you can pick up at the grocery store! -- I would expect to pay $3.50-$4.00 for one of these cards. It's the deal of the century.

Each card is unique and special. I anticipate the difficulty of selecting which card to use first. They'll be well received, I'm certain.

Also available at Dollar Tree is Joyfully Yours, a DaySpring Company.
Joyfully Yours lets family and friends express their faith in just the right way during holidays, special occassions, and moments big and small.

Now go and get a head start and buy all your cards for the year. It'll be one less thing you have to worry about - especially with the Holiday Season sneaking up behind us :)
