RECALL ALERT: Hormel Foods Recalling OVER 228,000 Pounds of Canned Meat

Hormel Foods is recalling approximately 228,614 pounds of canned meat (pork and chicken products) that may be contaminated with pieces of metal.
According to the USDA, the canned pork and chicken products were produced from February 8th through February 10th, 2018.

The following products are being recalled:

  • 12-oz. metal cans of SPAM Classic with a “Best By” February 2021 date and production codes: F020881F020882, F020883F020884F020885F020886F020887F020888, and F020889. These products were shipped throughout the United States.

  • 12-oz. metal cans of Hormel Foods Black-Label Luncheon Loaf with a “Best By” February 2021 date & production codes F02098 and F02108. These products were shipped to Guam only.
