Motivation Monday: Summer (Wardrobe) Cleaning

Good Morning Savers! Happy Monday.
Fall is "falling" our way and I wanted to share with you a short Motivation Monday Tip. I spent last week cleaning out my home and got rid of a good majority of our belongings. I've been wanting to live a very minimal life, and with that, I started with my wardrobe - a capsule wardrobe.
A capsule wardrobe is “a mini wardrobe made up of really versatile pieces". Each season (spring, summer, fall, and winter), you clear your closet except for a set number of pieces to be in your capsule wardrobe. Your capsule collection is made up of a combination of items you already own and love to wear, as well as new, quality items that you can shop for once a season.

A capsule wardrobe represents more time, more money, and more energy for the things in life that really matter (aka not your clothes). By shopping only once a season, you save money on frivolous items that add up.

I took this picture on my LG phone (not everyone owns an iPhone) before picking out an outfit and running off to work. And yes, I'm aware some of my items are wrinkly ;D

My wardrobe consists of:
16 - Tank Tops (I live in California, what did you expect? :D)
7 - (Special Occasion) Dresses
10 - Short Sleeve Tops
 5- Long Sleeve Shirts
 4 - Sweaters
8 - Jeans/Pants
4 - Shorts
I don't have a capsule wardrobe for each season. I just have a set amount of clothing items I will be wearing until they are destroyed beyond belief (lol).
